Flowers or Plants?

The most important thing to remember is whether you are sending flowers or a plant is that it is the thought that counts. If you know the recipients is a gardener, has indoor house plants, or is known for having a “green thumb”, then a plant is a good idea. Also, if you know the recipient has already received lots of flowers a plant can be a good idea. You may also consider a “goodie basket” of comfort foods or snacks. A loss can be a demanding and stressful time, so a gift basket may be a perfect solution. However, traditional or unique sympathy flowers are always welcomed.
